What are you most proud of in your career achievements? Do you have a defining moment of your career to date? I starting out fishing on a boat and now am currently running several departments at Stavis Seafoods.  My career path took me from fishing to running a fishing boat.  Next step was working in and then running a seafood processing plant.  Next step was working for a broad line distributor buying and marketing seafood. I ended up at Stavis starting as sales manager.  I went from sales manager to VP Marketing to COO to now CBO in the span of 25 years.

Special Accomplishment:  One of the first to successfully ship fresh wild salmon to European buyers.

Most challenging part of your job: My biggest challenge is working with people who settle for mediocrity.

Advice for upcoming younger executives: Maintain your sense of humor and dare to do and be more than you expect.
