Mentors and how have they assisted you in your career:
Lisa Zgela, Director of Public Relations at my first agency job.  I was an account executive.  She taught me the skills to be a multi-tasker, build relationships with clients and media reps.
John Longstreet, current boss and president/chief executive officer at The Lube.  He has been a tremendous mentor in helping to advance my career to the next level.  He has guided me to become a respected leader for my team and our franchisees.

What are you most proud of in your career achievements? Do you have a defining moment of your career to date?
In 2011, was promoted to lead the Marketing Department, responsible for multiple disciplines.  Our department has been the high scoring department in our Franchise Satisfaction survey for three years running.  Defining moment was three months ago when I was unexpectedly named a Vice President for the company.

Most challenging part of your job:
Staying ahead of the competition and the ever-changing media world (i.e., social environment).

Advice for upcoming younger executives:
Be committed and live by the business philosophy to “always do the right thing.”
