Current position: My current role is pharmacy recruiter. I also work with the Diversity Director on the Women’s Resources Groups in the company.

Years with company:  Seven years

Mentors and how have they assisted you in your career:
I consider my parents to be my personal mentors as they have been instrumental in establishing the value of education and hard work. I have two additional mentors that help me both personally and professionally. They help me stay accountable to my goals and stay on track. When I get frustrated and want to give up they push me harder and keep me going. My mentors are invaluable and ask me the hard questions and challenge me to come up with the answers.

What are you most proud of in your career achievements? Do you have a defining moment of your career to date?
I have more than just one defining moment in my career; however, the most rewarding has been in my current role.  I am proud of not growing up in the grocery business yet I have been able to successfully apply my skill set and build a new program from the concept stage and see it come to life.   It was a very exciting time to make a contribution in which the company transitioned from 65 pharmacies to over 140 pharmacies.  I am very proud to be part of this customer-focused organization.

Advice for upcoming younger executives:
Love what you do, believe in yourself and always maintain a good balance between your work and home life.
