Mentors and how have they assisted you in your career: Boyd Johnson.  Boyd and I have worked together for many years. He has always had the unique ability to offer the right advice and guidance at the right time. He has always been the stabilizing force when I have needed extra direction.

What are you most proud of in your career achievements? Do you have a defining moment oyour career to dateI am most proud of the many loyal and long term customers that I have developed. It has been very rewarding to take a customer from ordering just a few items to becoming a key supplier.  I am also proud of  becoming a 2 time sales person of the year for Perkins.

Most challenging part of your job: The most challenging thing is attending to all of the day to day details of this job, while continuing to maintain and grow my business. There are a lot of moving parts and it is sometimes difficult to make sure nothing is missed.

Advice for upcoming younger executives:  Learn as much as you can from your peers. I have always tried to find out different  approaches and tools used by my colleagues. It has always been helpful to me to tap
