I am responsible for managing the meat and seafood business for Associated Grocers of New England. My responsibilities include purchasing, inventory control, value analysis, market research, negotiations, and overseeing departmental sales. Other responsibilities include interacting with vendors and suppliers in their key strategic initiatives, promoting decisions on product lines, and creating new programs. The most rewarding part of my job is the people. Together we continually set challenging goals. We use idea building to develop creative ways to grow sales. Having a dynamic team makes work productive and exciting.
