Leslie G. Sarasin is president and chief executive officer of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and represents 1,500 retail, wholesale and supplier members from the United States and 50 countries. She directs FMI’s public affairs, food safety, communications, research, education and industry programs and initiatives. She advocates on behalf of the food retail industry and FMI membership to the White House, Congress, government and regulatory agencies, media, and other industry trade associations.
